A Civil Coalition of 19 Arab countries in Sana'a in support of Gaza.
YemenOnline. January 25, 2009 - Sponsored by H.E. President Ali Saleh, the Cultural Bridges Forum (CBF), headed by Dr. A. Al-Iryani, organizes a civil society forum "For Gaza Strip towards a more equitable international justice" next Wednesday and Thursday in cooperation with the National Center for Human Rights and Democratic Development and the Union of Arab women.
Dr. Al-Iryani added that civil society leaders from 19 Arab countries have responded promptly within the framework of the forum's invitation to form an Arab coalition to discuss new mechanisms and the role of civil society organizations in support of the people of Gaza and the documentation of the inhuman violations committed against them.
Meanwhile, Mr. Jamal Al-Awadhi, Secretary-General of the Cultural Bridges Forum (CBF) and Director of the National Center for Human Rights and Democratic Development, stated that preparations for organizing the forum have been taken since the beginning of the Israeli aggression.
