Yemen: International Herald Tribune to contribute to changing the unfair perception of international media over Yemen.

YemenOnline, Special. March 01 - All too often, the international media projects a negative perception of Yemen regarding security issues and provides insufficient coverage of its sweeping reforms and positive developments taking place in the country. This negative image often causes the international community to overlook the promising investment opportunities and unique tourist attractions that Yemen offers.

Having identified the country’s communication needs, two Intercom representatives are currently in Yemen to produce a socio-economic report to be distributed in the International Herald Tribune.

The aim of this feature is to raise awareness of Yemen’s progress in terms of democracy and business environment, and to contribute to changing this unfair perception of the country. In light of the current global financial turmoil, Yemen can become a regional hub for highly profitable investments.
