Yemen demands investigation into death of aYemeni citizen in Guantanamo
YemenOnline.June,5 - Yemen demanded opening investigation into the death circumstances of a Yemeni citizen in Guantanamo detention. The Emirates' Gulf newspaper quoted a Yemeni Foreign Ministry's official as saying, "the Ministry follows with great concern the death of the Yemeni Guantanamo prisoner Mohammed Ahmed Abdullah Saleh who is known as al-Hanashi, to know the death cause." The American military authorities said that a Yemeni prisoner who is held for over seven years in Guantanamo, without charges was found dead in his cell in an apparent suicide.This is the sixth death and the fifth suicide case among Guantanamo prisoners, which president Obama ordered its close down by next January 2010.
