GCC deal has to support oil and gas investments in Yemen
14/07/2012- YemenOnline Yemen minister of oil and gas Hisham Sharaf met on Thursday the UN envoy to Yemen Gamal Bin Omar discussing with him the current Yemeni economic situation specially in the field of oil and gas industry in Yemen. Oil and gas become the only source that feed the Yemeni economic beside some international and regional aid particularly from Saudi Arabia, That makes me urges GCC to include supporting and developing of oil and gas investment in the agenda of the next donor conference' Yemeni oil minister said during his meeting with UN envoy Bin Omar. The minister Sharaf evaluated the efforts of the National reconciliation government and the Yemeni president Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi to enhance his ministry's strategy to repair the pipeline of of Marib - Ras Issa - so as to re-pump crude oil and making Yemeni people to take advantage of the most important of his natural resources.
