NCHRDD announced his adoption to the (Monitoring Voter) project for the upcoming elections in Yemen. YemenOnline- Sep 3,2008- Chairman of the National Center for Human Rights and Democratic Development NCHRDD Jamal Al-Awadhi declared to Yemenonline that they are currently working in cooperation with the Arab Association for Democracy to prepare for the project of the monitoring voter Which represents a new democratic mechanism to make the voter as an observer on the safety of electoral procedures. In the midst of the conflict of the political parties as usual in every elections season ,monitoring voter project will enhance the transparency of elections as well as to expand the popular participation of the democratic process" Al-Awadhi says. This will promote the culture of democracy among people and let them deeply involved" he added .NCHRDD still looking for sponsors, the final draft of the project is ready to discuss with the interested local and international organizations.
