US Embassy in Yemen denies news of its closure . YemenOnline- Sep 19 ,2008 - Spokesman for the US embassy in Sana'a denied Thursday closure of the embassy to citizens. Sources at the embassy declared that there is a misunderstanding in the media handling closure of the embassy.
The US embassy spokesman said closure of the embassy was after the attack it came under yesterday and today Thursday and tomorrow Friday is the weekend. He affirmed that the embassy resumes its usual work next Saturday and will be open to help the American nationals.
Some media instruments have mentioned earlier today that the American embassy has closed down in the wake of the attack.
