MASAM Project Clears 1,327 Houthi Landmines in Last Week of July

The project ran by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) for clearing MASAM Houthi landmines in Yemen managed to remove 1,327 mines, including one anti-personnel mine, 96 anti-tank mines, 1,229 unexploded ordnance, and one explosive device in the last week of July 2020.
Since the beginning of the project, 177,637 landmines planted by the Iranian-backed Houthi militias have been dismantled.
Houthis planted them in lands, schools and homes in Yemen and tried to hide them in different forms, colors and methods, which killed and caused serious injuries to a large number of people.
