The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSRelief ) emergency nutritional medical clinics continue to serve Yemenis in Hodeidah governorate in partnership with Taybah Foundation for Development. During the month of August, more than 16,800 patients benefited from the project. The diagnostic laboratory received 4,219 people during the month. A total of 13,300 people were provided with medications for different ailments. The center is also working on a water and sanitation project in Al- Khawkhah district in Hodeidah.
During August, the project supplied 1,271,000 liters of drinking water to the district.
A similar project is also underway in the Hajjah governorate to ensure smooth water supply benefiting more than 6,320 people. Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian efforts exerted through KSRelief have reached 45 countries to date, through 1,062 projects, most allocated to Yemen.
KSRelief has implemented 344 health projects in Yemen carried out in coordination with the high relief committee of the Yemeni Health Ministry and local and international partners.
