Saudi Masam Project Dismantles over 1,550 Mines in Yemen in One Week
Masam, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's project for clearing landmines in Yemen, dismantled, during the third week of April 2022, a total of 1,550 mines planted by the Houthi militias across Yemen, the Saudi Press Agency reported Sunday.
SPA said that the dismantled mines included 1,050 anti-tank mines and 500 unexploded ordnance.
Since the beginning of the project, as many as 334,060 mines planted by the militias, have been dismantled.
