Qatar sends ground troops to Yemen

Qatar is sending ground troops to Yemen, following the death of at least 60 soldiers from the Gulf countries this week, according to widespread reports.
Speaking to Doha News, a spokesperson for Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs declined to comment on whether the nation’s military was becoming more involved in the ongoing clash between the Houthi rebels and the Yemeni government, adding he could neither confirm nor deny that the country was sending troop support.
