Two Yemeni abductees killed in Al Houthi-run prisons

The Association of Yemeni Abductee Mothers Thursday declared the death of two of their loved ones in secret prisons run by the Iran-backed Al Houthi militias.
In a statement circulated in a demonstration staged today in Hodeida, members of the Association voiced deep concern about the increase in abductions, forced disappearances and horrific torture of civilians by Al Houthis in the governorate that led to the killing of two civilians.
The Association said they don’t know the whereabouts of dozens, including women, taken away by Al Houthis and transferred to secret prisons.
The statement held Al Houthis accountable for the safety of all the abductees, affirming that crimes of kidnapping are not time-barred.
The Mothers urged the UN and Security Council to interfere and ensure the immediate and unconditional release of captives.
