Yemeni fighting sides swap 18 war detainee

A government official said to Xinhua that on Saturday, May. 1 Forces loyal to Yemen's administration and the Houthi militants carried out a prisoner swap in the nation’s northern province of Marib.
18 prisoners were freed in the course of a prisoner swap between the two rival sides fighting over the control of the strategic oil-rich province of Marib.
The administration forces and the Houthi militants swapped detainees by attempts exerted by local tribal mediators, according to the source.
He explained that nine detainees were freed by government forces, whereas another nine were freed by the rebel outfit.
