Yemen national Junior football team wins West Asian Cup

Yemen's national football team succeeded in winning the 2021 West Asian Youth Football Championship after defeating Saudi Arabia in the final 4-3 on penalties after the match ended with a positive tie with a goal each.
The Yemeni team opened the scoring at the 47th minute through Muhammad Al-Barwani and Saudi Adel Muhammad Saleh Al-Issa in the second minute of stoppage time, so that the two teams ruled for penalty kicks, which smiled at the Yemeni team 4-3.
The West Asian Junior Championships was held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from sep 13 to Dec13, with the participation of 9 teams.
