UAE says no national carriers affected by Boeing 737 MAX malfunction

The United Arab Emirates' civil aviation said on Sunday that none of its national carriers have planes affected by the technical malfunction a U.S. Boeing 737 MAX 9 underwent, UAE state news agency WAM reported.
U.S. regulators on Saturday temporarily grounded 171 Boeing 737 MAX 9 jetliners for safety checks following a cabin panel blowout that forced a new Alaska Airlines jet carrying passengers to make an emergency landing.
