U.S. Drone Missile Appears to Bounce Off Mysterious Object Off Yemen

Aden — In a stunning revelation during a congressional hearing this week, U.S. lawmakers were shown classified footage depicting a bizarre encounter between a military drone and an unidentified aerial object over the Gulf of Aden, near Yemen.
The video, recorded on October 30, 2024, shows an MQ-9 Reaper drone tracking a luminous, fast-moving sphere before launching a Hellfire missile directly at it. To the astonishment of observers, the missile appears to strike the object—only to bounce off without causing any visible damage. A small amount of debris is seen falling, but the object continues its flight undeterred.
“This is not normal physics,” remarked one intelligence official present at the hearing. “The missile should have obliterated the target. Instead, it was as if the object absorbed or deflected the impact.”
The Pentagon declined to comment on the footage, citing national security concerns. However, the incident has reignited debate over the nature of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs), formerly known as UFOs. Several former military personnel testified during the hearing, describing similar encounters with objects that defied conventional aerodynamics and appeared to interfere with electronic systems.
Lawmakers are now pressing for greater transparency and further investigation into these phenomena, with some suggesting the possibility of non-human technology.
As the mystery deepens, the public is left with more questions than answers: What was the object? Why did the missile fail? And who—or what—controls such advanced capabilities?
