Yemeni military sources confirmed that there are extensive arrangements to launch a combat operation against the Houthi militia during the next few days on two strategic fronts, which will lead to forcing the Houthis to return to the final peace path.
The sources indicated that the newly formed "Shield of the Nation" forces in the liberated areas will wage the next battle against the militias on the fronts of central Yemen, pointing out that these forces are armed with combat equipment suitable for the battle, in addition to mobilizing local communities to support the forces to achieve a quick and indiscriminate victory. She stated that the operation would be under regional and international supervision, as long as the militias warned of the consequences of their persistence in targeting and threatening economic interests and international navigation in and around Yemen, pointing to the existence of logistical coordination and cooperation with several parties to protect and secure international navigation in the Red Sea, and oil and gas sources in Yemen.
The military arrangements of the government and the legitimate Yemeni leadership come in conjunction with leaked information stating that the militias are preparing to launch large-scale attacks on the oil sector in Marib and Shabwa, and will start with Oil Sector No. 5 in Shabwa.
Several official and popular government bodies, during the past days, called for a military response against the terrorist attacks launched by the militias on economic sites and oil ports, and threatened international navigation, in addition to targeting civilians in Marib and Taiz, which prompted the army leadership, in coordination with the coalition, to form new forces.
