Security authorities in Taiz revealed the seizure of a quantity of weapons, explosives, landmines, and wireless communication devices in the possession of those arrested in connection with the murder of the coordinator of the World Food Program in Taiz Governorate, Moayad Hamidi, who passed a week after his death in a crime that was widely condemned at the local and international levels.
Taiz police confirmed in a statement , in Friday, that the procedures are still ongoing and the results of the investigations are "promising and positive," as they put it.
" We will keep the public informed of the latest developments, and the results of the legally available procedures that do not affect the course of the procedures." Police Says.
they also explained that "the investigation and campaign procedures are continuing," and that "all the procedures implemented are legal and are carried out under the supervision and coordination with the Public Prosecution."
Taiz police praised the "cooperation of citizens and social figures with the security campaign, which helped it achieve achievement in record time," calling on residents to "more cooperation and coordination in the interest of security and stability and controlling criminal gangs."
The security authorities had announced earlier the arrest of 20 suspects, including the two main perpetrators of the assassination, which drew widespread domestic and international condemnation.
They indicated that the investigation committee released a number of those arrested after completing the procedures with them.

- A bag containing three explosive devices was in the possession of the arrested.

- A small package containing a small flashlight attached to a mobile phone battery.
- "RPG" missiles with fillings.
- Bombs.
- AKM weapons and pistols.
-Various ammunition.
- Suspicious "Toyota Hilux" car.
-Suspicious motorcycle.
-Clothes worn by the perpetrators.
-Archaeological manuscripts and Google Maps.
- “Memory cards and CDs” and a projector.
- A promotional bag containing a quantity of “slide holder cards” with names on them.
-The clothes the suspects were wearing.
- Smart phones and buttons used to communicate and make explosives.
-Materials used in making explosives.
- 17 kilograms of TNT inside bags of different colors.
-3 kilograms of gunpowder.
- A sack of small plastic clips used as shrapnel for packaging.
- Copper wire coils and sheets.
-Small batteries of different sizes.
- A number of remote controls .
-Old phones with wires.
-A number of other seizures and personal belongings of the arrested.
It also announced the recovery of the following looted goods:
- A 2006 Toyota Land Cruser car belonging to the Inspector General of the Ministry of Defense, Major General Adel Al-Qumairi, and it was reported.
- A white motorcycle belonging to the municipality and reported.
- An AKM belonging to Muhannad al-Banna and reported in a case of cutting and looting.
