The Yemeni Chief of Staff Major General Mohammad Ali Al-Maqdeshi confirmed that the decisive battle will soon take place, and the state will resume exercising its function on all Yemeni territories. Al-Maqdeshi said in statements to Al-Riyadh newspaper that the legitimate and coalition's forces are now close to Sanaa, and will liberate it within a few days, as all of Yemen will soon also be fully liberated, while pointing out that throughout this current stage, Yemen will no longer be in need of a landing operation after land interventions had been carried out with the support of the coalition countries.
