Houthi rebels threaten to target warships with suicide boats and sea bombs, Yemeni sources said

Sources in Sanaa told Yemen Online that the Houthi rebels in Sanaa are studying options to respond to the killing of ten of their militias by American forces, in addition to the possibilities of any military attack by the United States and its allies on specific Houthi targets.
Among the expected options is to flood the waterways on the Red Sea with modern naval bombs, in addition to targeting warships currently present in the Red Sea with suicide operations using naval boats, similar to the targeting of the American destroyer USS Cole in the Gulf of Aden by Al-Qaeda in 2000, which led to the killing of 18 US Marines.
These moves came after 14 countries led by US issued a joint statement, which called on the Houthis to stop threaten international navigation, which the Houthis considered to be a possible signal of military operations against them.
