Houthis Claim Attack on U.S. Aircraft Carrier “Harry S. Truman”

The Houthis militia in Yemen announced on Sunday that they had targeted the U.S. aircraft carrier “Harry S. Truman” in the Red Sea.
According to a statement by the Houthi’s spokesperson, the operation involved cruise missiles and drones, which were launched in retaliation for recent U.S. airstrikes on Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen.
However, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has not confirmed these claims but stated that American forces in the region remain on high alert to protect U.S. interests and allied partners.
CENTCOM also emphasized that the “Harry S. Truman” is operating as part of a carrier strike group, alongside other U.S. Navy warships, reinforcing America’s naval presence in the region.
