UAE provides 12 tonnes of food supplements to hospitals in Yemen

The UAE has provided 12 tonnes of food supplements to hospitals in the Yemeni Governorate of Taiz, according to the official WAM news agency on Friday.
The United Arab Emirates has provided these food supplements through its humanitarian arm the Emirates Red Crescent.
The food aid was delivered to the Public Health Office (PHO) in Taiz as part of the UAE's ongoing efforts to help Yemeni children and mothers suffering from severe malnutrition at the hospitals in Taiz.
Ali Saeed, deputy director of the PHO, in Al Muzzafar district of Taiz, said the aid will help hospitals cater for the needs of mothers and children suffering from various health problems, including malnutrition.
