At least eight people from one family were killed when a Saudi-led coalition airstrike hit a house in Yemen's southwestern province of Taiz on Friday, local sources said.
The airstrike targeted the house in Warzan area in Khadir district, killing the family including women and children, a medic and a resident at the distrcit health center told Xinhua by phone.
Five others were wounded in the airstrike, they added on condition of anonymity.
There were no comments from the coalition on the airstrike.
Saudi Arabia has been leading a coalition to fight in Yemen for more than four years in support of the exiled internationally recognized Yemeni government against the Iran-allied Houthi rebels.
