YOL- Yemeni Parliamentarians, human rights organisations, politiocal parties announced its reservation on the decision issued by Yemeni president, Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, to appoint Ahmed Al-Mousai as Attorney general, indicating that the decision contravenes the provisions of the Yemeni constitution and the law of the judicial authority.
The Yemen anti-corruption parliamentarians group emphasized that the decision was issued without going through the procedures specified by the Judicial Authority Law regarding the appointment of the general attorney , noting that the decision contravenes the principle of the independence of the Yemeni judiciary and international standards regarding the independent judiciary .
The Yemeni National Center for Human Rights NCHRDD (NGOs) annonced in a statmant that the Yemeni president Hadi has violated the constitution and the law by s appointmening a security officer at the Ministry of Interior in judicial position as a general attorney, which was supposed to be occupied a person belongs to the Yemeni judiciary system.
NCHRDD stressed that it will take all legal procedures to counter this decision, which contributes to make president Hadi a new dictator in the region working against the constitution and the law.
Yemeni Southern Judcial Club SJC called on the Supreme Judicial Council to assume its responsibilities and duties, to object and address this decision, and to refrain from implementing it in respect of the constitution and the law of the judicial authority.
Yemen General People Congress party JPC noted in a atatment issued yestday that president "Hadi" went beyond the limits of the powers and horribly violating the Yemeni constitution and the law.
JPC Stressing that if President Hadi goes in the way of violations of the constitution and law and supports corruption, he will lose his legitimacy and open q larg gate to chaos.
