Yemen : Houthis claim they targeted a US ship

Yemen's Houthis announced on Thursday evening that they had attacked two ships in the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean.
Houthis said in a statement that it attacked the US oil ship “Olympic Spirit” in the Red Sea with “11 ballistic missiles and two drones, which led to a direct hit.”
“The operation was carried out jointly by the missile force, the air force and the naval forces,” they added.
The statement continued: “The second operation was carried out by the missile force with a winged missile targeting the ship (ST.JOHN) in the Indian Ocean and the hit was direct.”
It pointed out that: “The ship was targeted because the company that owns it violated the decision to ban entry into the ports of occupied Palestine.”
