Yemen : US strikes Houthi sites in Hodeidah, Marib

US forces struck Yemen’s Hodeidah International Airport and other Houthi-controlled areas, Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah TV reported Saturday.
According to the outlet, three airstrikes targeted the Hodeidah airport, while five more hit the Majzar district in Marib. No casualties or damage were reported.
Al Arabiya, citing unnamed sources, said Houthi naval commander Mansour Al-Saadi, also known as Abu Sajjad, was injured in the US strike on a naval base in the Al-Kateeb area near Hodeidah.
A few hours later, American warplanes reportedly targeted Hodeidah port and the Salif port, 60 kilometers west of the city.
Washington has not released an official statement on the latest strikes.
The operations are part of a broader US escalation against Houthi forces in response to repeated attacks on Red Sea shipping lanes and rising regional security threats.
