Yemen : US Airstrikes Target Houthi Sites in Sana'a

The United States has intensified its military campaign against the Houthi rebels in Yemen, conducting a series of airstrikes across multiple regions.
These strikes, which began earlier this month, are part of a broader effort to counter the Houthis' threats to maritime trade and their alleged support for Hamas during the Gaza conflict.
Recent reports indicate that at least 17 airstrikes targeted areas in Saada and Amran provinces, causing significant material damage.
The Houthi-controlled health ministry reported casualties, including one death and several injuries, following a strike in the capital, Sanaa. The strikes have also hit key Houthi military sites, including weapons factories and drone production facilities.
The US campaign aims to dismantle the Houthis' military capabilities and send a strong message to their allies, including Iran.
However, the Houthis have vowed to retaliate, launching attacks on US warships in the Red Sea and targeting Israeli military sites with drones.
This escalation comes amid a decade-long conflict in Yemen that has devastated the country, leaving millions in poverty and facing famine. The situation remains dire, with no immediate resolution in sight.
