The Israeli army announced that it successfully intercepted a surface-to-surface missile launched from Yemen towards central Israel.
Israeli Channel 12 confirmed that the ballistic missile was launched towards the greater Tel Aviv area, and came during preparations for the October 7 commemoration ceremony.
The Israeli media did not provide any further details, at a time when similar military operations have been escalating in recent days.
