Saudi, US officials discuss Yemen’s development

Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Jaber met with the former homeland security advisor to US President George W. Bush, Frances Townsend, in Riyadh on Thursday.
Al-Jaber, who is also the general supervisor of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY), welcomed Townsend and stressed the historical relationship between the two friendly countries.
During the meeting at the SDRPY headquarters, the two sides discussed a number of common international issues and the positive impact of Saudi development projects in Yemen, which improve the daily lives of the Yemeni people.
Townsend was shown a presentation to SDRPY’s current projects, which contribute to strengthening the Yemeni economy, providing direct and indirect job opportunities, and have revived daily life in Yemen.
