The emergency nutrition clinics of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued to provide treatment services in Al-Khawkhah District of Hodeidah Governorate, Yemen, in partnership with Taibah Foundation for Development.
All departments of the clinics received up to 5,929 beneficiaries. The lab received 3,815 beneficiaries, while the clinic provided medical services to almost 4,126 individuals.
The Riyadh-based center also implemented water and environmental sanitation project to preserve the lives of families in Al-Khawkhah.
During the period from 6 to 12 March, KSrelief pumped 301,000 liters of water into the tanks, and another 338,000 liters for multiple usages benefiting 34,614 people.
Meanwhile in Mukalla, Hadhramaut Governorate, Ksrelief concluded its voluntary medical campaign for children heart catheterization surgeries.
The medical team conducted 93 operations, including 83 heart catheterization surgeries and 10 open-heart operations, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
This comes within the framework of the humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, for the Yemeni people to improve their living conditions during the current humanitarian crisis.
