Yemeni Min. hails Kuwaiti humanitarian stances
Yemen's Minister of Local Administration Abdulraqeeb Fateh on Thursday hailed the Kuwaiti influential humanitarian stances in supporting the Yemeni people.
In a statement to KUNA, Fateh said the noble humanitarian efforts made by Kuwait and its relief institutions are appreciated and welcomed by the Yemeni government and people.
The Kuwaiti projects covered most areas related to the lives of citizens and their livelihoods in most governorates and had a great impact in alleviating the burden of human suffering on the Yemenis at the present time, he added.
He pointed out that the direct Kuwaiti support provided by the Kuwaiti government or through Kuwaiti relief or organizations or societies through the financing of projects of international organizations contributed greatly to meeting the humanitarian needs of Yemeni citizens.
The minister affirmed that the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society, the Kuwaiti Relief Society, and all Kuwaiti donor societies and bodies have implemented many relief and development projects and programs in most of the Yemeni governorates, which contributed to providing many health and humanitarian needs.
