Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen has strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militia's attempts to target civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the last of which was launching a bomb-laden UAV towards Khamis Mushait City and another bomb-laden UAV that was intercepted and destroyed in Yemeni airspace.
In a statement, the Secretary General commended the vigilance of the Forces of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen that managed to intercept and destroy the two bomb-laden UAVs.
Dr. Al-Othaimeen reiterated OIC's support for all measures being taken by the Coalition Forces to address the terrorist Houthi militia's acts and protect civilians and civilian objects, in accordance with international humanitarian law and norms. He pointed out that Houthi militia's acts of hostile escalation and its blatant challenge are considered war crimes.
Dr. Al-Othaimeen reaffirmed OIC's stand and solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to preserve its security, stability and the safety of its citizens and residents.
