The judge, the scholar, Muhammad bin Ismail Al-Omrani, died Today , Monday, at the age of one hundred years, after a sporadic deterioration of his health during the past months.
"Abdul Razzaq," the son of Judge Al-Omrani, who confirmed the news on his Facebook page, said that the funeral and funeral prayers will be held today, Monday, at the time of the noon prayer at Al-Zubayri Mosque in Sana'a ,According to Yemeni media.
Judge Al-Omrani was exposed to a health problem at the end of last month and was admitted to the hospital, and his condition improved and he was transferred to the house. However, his health condition deteriorated early this month and he was taken to a hospital in the capital, and he died at dawn today.
Al-Qadi Al-Omrani hails from the city of Sana’a, where he was born in 1922 AD, where he was raised and studied by senior scholars and judges.
Judge Muhammad al-Amrani is considered the most famous contemporary Yemeni scholar and reference in terms of legal and jurisprudential sciences. He also held the position of Mufti of the Republic of Yemen until the Houthis came and appointed a member of the dynasty as their mufti.
The Yemeni Ministry of Endowments and Guidance mourned the death of the Mufti of the Republic, Muhammad bin Ismail Al-Omrani, who passed away at dawn today, Monday.
In a statement, the ministry said, "With this great affliction and great speeches, we console ourselves and the Yemeni leadership and people, the Arab and Islamic nations, and condolences to his father, family, grandchildren, students and lovers."
The ministry called on all Yemenis, after the noon prayer, to perform the absentee prayer in all mosques of the republic for the great deceased, asking God Almighty to have mercy on him.
