The Executive Unit for the Management of IDPs Camps in Ma'rib Governorate confirmed that 19,000 displaced families were affected by the rains in Ma'rib, calling at the same time for the need to provide relief to those affected.
In a report, the Executive Unit renewed, according to "Yemen" news channel reported today, Monday, its humanitarian appeal to help those affected in displacement camps by rain, torrential rain and winds that the governorate witnessed during last July and August, as a result of climatic changes and low weather.
She said that the humanitarian situation of the displaced in the affected camps is very dire, and that the current interventions of the humanitarian partners are insufficient and have not addressed the problems and damage caused by the depression that made the situation a real disaster.
It is noteworthy that the Ma'rib Governorate and other governorates witnessed torrential rains and torrential rains due to the depression, which caused a doubling of the suffering of the displaced, who lack the most basic services.
