Abu Dhabi – Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, met with Mr. Hans Grundberg, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy to Yemen, on the sidelines of the 12th Abu Dhabi Strategic Forum, organized by the Emirates Policy Center.

During the meeting, the two officials discussed the latest developments in the Yemeni crisis and explored ways to support international efforts aimed at reaching a comprehensive political solution that ends the conflict and alleviates its humanitarian impact.

Dr. Gargash reaffirmed the UAE’s steadfast support for the brotherly people of Yemen and its commitment to backing all initiatives and efforts that seek to resolve the crisis and promote peace and stability in Yemen and the wider region.
