Yemen expresses condolences to Morocco

Yemen expressed its sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to the brotherly Kingdom of Morocco and to the families of the victims of the earthquake that struck a number of Moroccan cities, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries.
In a press statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the solidarity of the Republic of Yemen with the Kingdom of Morocco in this painful affliction, asking the Lord Almighty for mercy for the victims and a speedy recovery for the injured, and for the Kingdom of Morocco to spare all evil and harm.
For its part, the Moroccan Ministry of the Interior said that the death toll from the earthquake rose to 1,037 deaths and 1,204 injuries, including 721 serious injuries, according to an updated tally by the Ministry of the Interior as of one o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, September 9.
Many countries and organizations offered their condolences to Morocco for the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck the Kingdom on Saturday night, with an intensity of 7 degrees on the Richter scale, as the Kingdom experienced a disaster and a terrifying night, and the epicenter of the earthquake was in the village of “Ighil” in Al Haouz Province.
