The Houthis will never stop making the Red Sea a permanent hotbed of tension, Yemen president of YPC

Munich- Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, head of the Yemeni Presidential Council YPC , said during the Munich Security Conference today that the Houthi rebels will never stop threatening international navigation and the world economic interests even if the war in Gaza stops. Houthi rebels will continue making the Red Sea hotbed of tension and conflict, President of YPC notes.
Al-Alimi also called on the international community to expand the classification of the Houthi militia as a “terrorist” group, and to support the legitimate government to extend its control over the entire Yemeni territory, in order to put an end to the threat of these militias to maritime navigation and regional and international security.
If we want to end this Houthi piracy, we must deal with the source of this threat and its roots, and this will only happen by ending the coup of Houthi terrorist militia and restoring Yemen state institutions, along with exerting maximum pressure on the Iranian regime, Al-Alimi affirms.
