Yemen : Kremlin says it’s unaware of Houthi security guarantees for Russian ships in Red Sea

The Kremlin said on Friday it was unaware of any security guarantees extended by Yemen’s Houthis toward Russian and Chinese cargo ships in the Red Sea, after reports of an agreement between Moscow, Beijing and the Houthis.
Bloomberg on Thursday reported that the Houthis have told China and Russia their ships can sail through the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden without being attacked, according to several people with knowledge of the militant group’s discussions.
