New president for the West Asian Darts Federation

Abdulsalam Al-Sudani from Yemen won by acclamation the presidency of the West Asian Darts Federation for a new term extending until 2028 after running for the position of president in the elections of the Executive Committee held on the sidelines of the third General Assembly meeting of the Arab and African Darts Federation yesterday, Tuesday, in the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh and the Arab Championship organized by the Egyptian Darts Federation during the period from October 29 to November 5, 2024 with the participation of 14 countries and about 200 male and female players.
Abdulsalam Al-Sudani explained that he has a plan to spread the game and increase awareness of it by holding training and introductory workshops in schools and universities to encourage young people to practice darts and cooperate with international federations and attract support and sponsorship, which makes the region capable of competing at the international level, thanking at the same time Major General Dr. Yahya Abdel Qader, President of the Arab Darts Federation, and Mr. Dietmar Schumann, Secretary-General of the International Darts Federation, for supporting the nomination for this position.
It is worth mentioning that Abdul Salam Al-Sudi is the Vice President of the Yemeni Darts Federation, which is headed by Farhan Al-Muntaser Al-Faiz, who is also a member of the Executive Office of the Arab Darts Federation.
