Over 10,000 tonnes of UAE aid entered Gaza Strip

Five convoys carrying diverse Emirati humanitarian aid entered the Gaza Strip this week through the Rafah Border Crossing in Egypt, as part of the UAE’s efforts under the “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3’’ humanitarian operation to support and assist the Palestinian people during the current circumstances.
Scale of aid
The convoys included 100 trucks transporting over 2,376 tonnes of humanitarian aid, comprising food, medical supplies, and materials for shelter. This latest effort brings the total aid delivered to Gaza through the Rafah crossing to over 10,000 tonnes.
Oversight and delivery
An Emirati humanitarian aid team based in Al Arish oversees the loading and delivery of this aid, ensuring it reaches beneficiaries within the Gaza Strip. Their efforts include monitoring the process through the Rafah Border Crossing.
Intensified efforts
Since the onset of the truce, the UAE has intensified its humanitarian relief operations to assist the Palestinian population facing dire conditions. These initiatives aim to alleviate suffering, particularly among vulnerable groups, by providing essential needs.
Commitment to support
The UAE reaffirms its steadfast commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, mitigating the impact of the current crisis, and standing alongside its brothers and sisters in the Gaza Strip.
