UAE Calls for Immediate , Permanent Ceasefire in Gaza
Dubai – The United Arab Emirates has issued an urgent appeal for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, amid escalating violence and mounting humanitarian concerns.
In an official statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the UAE emphasized the need to halt all military operations and protect civilians, calling on all parties to exercise restraint and prioritize dialogue.
“The UAE reaffirms its unwavering commitment to regional peace and stability,” the statement read, adding that “the continuation of hostilities threatens the lives of innocent civilians and undermines efforts toward a just and lasting resolution.”
The UAE also urged the international community to intensify diplomatic efforts and humanitarian support, stressing the importance of ensuring access to aid, medical supplies, and essential services for the people of Gaza.
This call comes as part of the UAE’s broader diplomatic engagement to de-escalate tensions and promote sustainable peace across the region.
