Egypt has expressed, on Sunday, its strong condemnation of the terrorist attack that targeted the convoy of the Governor of Aden and the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of Yemeni people.

Egypt extends its sincere condolences to the government and people of Yemen, and to the families of the innocent victims, expressing its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured, and its solidarity and standing by the brotherly Yemen in the face of the brutal hand of terrorism.

Egypt calls on all Yemeni parties to renounce violence and uphold the higher interest of the brotherly Yemeni people away from any narrow accounts or private agendas, in order to push forward a comprehensive political settlement in a way that fulfils the aspirations of the Yemeni people towards a safe and stable homeland.
