Yemen's Houthi rebels claim down spy drone near Saudi border
Yemen's Shiite Houthi forces said they shot down a spy drone near the Saudi border on Saturday.
"Our air defense forces downed the drone in al-Sawh area near Saudi Arabia's southern region of Najran," Houthi-run al-Masirah TV reported.
There was no immediate confirmation from Saudi Arabia which has been leading a military coalition against the Iran-allied Houthi rebels in Yemen for more than four years.
The coalition intervened in Yemen's civil war in March 2015 to support Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi after the Houthis forced him into exile.
