Yemen : Three Explosions Rock Northern Sana’a, Targeting TV Headquarters and Senior Officials’ Residences

Sana’a –Three powerful explosions shook the Al-Jiraf district in northern Sana’a this evening, targeting the state television headquarters and the residences of senior officials, according to local sources.
Witnesses reported that the blasts were loud and caused widespread panic among residents. However, there have been no immediate reports of casualties or material damage.
Al-Jiraf is known as the main stronghold of the Houthis in Sana’a, where many of their leaders have been based since the group took control of the capital in 2014. The district has often been compared to the southern suburbs of Beirut, a key Hezbollah stronghold.
The strikes come amid growing Israeli threats to launch attacks on targets in Sana’a and Al-Hodeidah, similar to its recent strikes on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon and Syria.
As of now, no official party, either within Yemen or internationally, has claimed responsibility for the attack. The incident raises concerns over potential further escalations in the already volatile security situation in Sana’a in the coming hours.
