50 Yemeni pilgrims survive in a bus fire
JAZAN — About 50 Yemeni pilgrims survived a fire on their bus as they were returning to Yemen after performing Umrah in Makkah. Civil Defense officers and Red Crescent paramedics and traffic police rushed to the scene to clear traffic, extinguish the fire and rescue the passengers. No deaths or injuries were reported. Preliminary investigations indicated that the fire was caused by an electrical short.
