The National Emergency Committee to confront the Corona virus in Yemen said that it recorded, Saturday, a significant decrease in the number of infections and deaths from the virus, with the continued decline of the third wave of the pandemic in the country.
The committee of the internationally recognized Yemeni government stated in a statement that it had recorded 6 new cases of Covid-19 in three governorates, in addition to 3 deaths, compared to 22 injuries and 3 deaths yesterday, Friday.
This brings the total confirmed infections in the government-controlled areas in the south and east of the country to 9,779, of which 6,376 have recovered, and there are still 1,523 active cases, while the total deaths have reached 1,880.
