Paris- The French association LA VOIX DU SAPIN organized a protest last Saturday in Place de la République in Paris to denounce the Muslim Brotherhood and call for its designation as a terrorist organization that poses a threat to international peace and security.

Souheir Al-Dubaei, a Yemeni activist lives in France and the president of the association, stated that France is facing a growing risk from extremist and radical religious groups, noting that the Muslim Brotherhood supports and empowers these movements. She called on the French government and the European Parliament to take decisive measures to classify the group and protect French and European values from the extremism of these organizations.

In a related context, a recent French study indicated a significant rise in the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood in France, making it one of the threats facing the values of the French Republic.
