UAE Condemns Israeli Attacks and Violations of Syrian Sovereignty
The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned Israeli escalations and violations in Syrian territory, rejecting any infringement on Syria’s sovereignty and stability.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Israeli incursions constitute a clear breach of international law and the 1974 disengagement agreement, urging Israel to respect its obligations.
The ministry reaffirmed the UAE’s firm support for Syria’s stability, sovereignty, and the rights of its people to security, peace, and development.
The UAE also called on the international community to take immediate action to stop repeated Israeli attacks, de-escalate tensions, and protect regional and international security.
The condemnation followed an Israeli incursion in Quneitra’s northern countryside, where Israeli forces stormed Tarinja village, killing a young man, and advanced toward Suwaysa town with more than 30 military vehicles, raiding homes and detaining a civilian.
