UAE , Bahrain Express Strong Solidarity with Qatar Following Israeli Strike
In a powerful display of regional unity, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates have publicly expressed full solidarity with Qatar following a recent Israeli airstrike on Qatari territory that has sparked widespread condemnation across the Arab world.
During a high-level meeting at Sakhir Palace, Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan jointly denounced the attack as a “flagrant violation of Qatari sovereignty” and a breach of international law.
Both leaders emphasized their unwavering support for Qatar’s right to defend its territorial integrity and ensure the safety of its citizens.
The UAE President had earlier visited Doha, where he met with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to reaffirm Abu Dhabi’s “resolute solidarity” with Qatar and condemn the strike as a “criminal act” that threatens regional peace and stability.
This coordinated response marks a significant moment in Gulf diplomacy, especially given the history of strained relations among the Gulf states. Analysts suggest the unified stance could signal a shift toward deeper cooperation in the face of external threats.
As tensions simmer, the message from Bahrain and the UAE is clear: Qatar is not alone.
