UAE Supports Energy Sector In Hadramaut, Yemen

The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, today delivered an electric generator to Thamud Directorate in Hadramaut, Yemen, to support the energy sector and solve the power outage crisis for residents.
The gesture is part of the UAE's continuing efforts to rehabilitate the infrastructure including energy across various Yemeni governorates, and to alleviate the suffering of Yemeni citizens.
Saleh Abdullah Al-Menhali, Director-General of Thamud Directorate, thanked the UAE and the ERC for their support to the directorate, and for providing the generator to improve public services, including the electricity service in the province.
