Yemen... A thunderbolt kills man, injures his brother in Hajjah
A young man died and his brother was injured by a thunderbolt, in Hajjah Governorate, northwest of Yemen.
Local sources stated that the two young men were hit by a thunderbolt in their house, located in the Jamal al-Din area of Qafla Shammar district, Hajjah governorate.
According to the sources, the deceased young man was named Muhammad Taher, while his brother Ali was injured in the same accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Since last March, rains, torrential rains and thunderbolts have caused the death and injury of more than 50 people, according to local statistics, in various Yemeni governorates, in light of a rainy wave in the country.
